I can not say enough about Dr. Acholonu. He is extremely educated and proficient in all areas of bariatrics. What I love most about Dr. Acholonu, is his "No Non-sense" approach. He makes sure that you are well informed of all aspects of going through this life altering process. I can call anytime and speak with him about whatever difficulty I may b having or I can easily make an appointment to see him. I could have never made it this far without Dr. Acholonu.
Dr. Acholonu is not just your surgeon. He is someone who encourages you to be your best self after weight loss surgery. The practice is clean and the staff is friendly. Wait time is minimal. I definitely recommend him to everyone who is interested in weight loss surgery.

I can't say enough about Dr. Acholonu and all his staff. The extended staff including the nutrition and nurse navigator Monica were awesome. My whole experience with Bariatric Surgery has been a positive experience. I would recommend Dr.Acholonu to anyone. He is an excellent and very compassionate Dr. He truly cares about his patients and their needs. It doesn't hurt that he has a sense of hummer. I love him, he is the best

Dr A completed my surgery 10/29/2018 in which I had a gastric sleeve. I was extremely terrified and nervous for what I was going to be experiencing - he came in smiling confident and said let’s do this not a nervous bone in his body I came out of surgery in which he visited me twice the first day. Second day he came to visit me and put my mind at ease for the gas pain I was having! Any questions post op I had he answered amazingly and fast I would do this surgery all Over again with him! Amazing

Dr. Emeka is an extremely compassionate and understanding surgeon. While in the hospital Dr. Emeka took the time to explain what would be happening during my surgery the next day. He helped me understand everything and even went as far as to draw me a digraph of the procedure he would be preforming.
