Having had a wonderful dinner at Embers last fall, we decided to try the Mother's Day brunch. Definitely now I know why Embers only does one brunch/year. The restaurant was not full, but our entrees took an enormously long time to the table (>40 minutes). My omlette - the egg was rubbery and overdone, my wife's French toast bread was dry, and the crust was hard.
