This hotel is very nice. The complimentary breakfast was way above expectations with things such as made to order omelettes and smoothies chilled ready to go plus so much more. Our rooms are very nice. Nice pillows and bedding. Spacious. Secure with elevator key access. Great walking distance to awesome food options.

I’m local to downtown Madison and regularly have friends and family stay at nearby hotels when they visit, so I’m pretty familiar with most of the downtown options. This Embassy Suites is genuinely one of the best hotels in town. Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. You’re less than a block from King Street, with great bars and restaurants that skew more “non-university” (a bit more upscale).
