Firstly, the staff is incredible. Friendly, attentive, etc. everything you could ask for. The rooms are ROUGH!! I could barely get into my room as the door was off centered and stuck in the door jam. Once I got into my room after a few minutes of struggling I was hit with a nasty odor that smelt of must and mildew. Service and staff is great. Lots of construction around the hotel but not a problem. Area and hotel itself is a bit run down, rooms are a tad old but overall it’s a comfortable place to stay. They could do a bit better cleaning the rooms before a guest checks in, but that would be my only gripe. (My fridge was small and piece of the wall trim fell off during my stay, another girl told me she had used floss and toothpaste caps in her sink upon check in).

The hotel itself feels pretty new. Everything is in pretty good order. The bed was comfortable and the room was slightly larger than usual. We had a top floor room. The location is just off a highway, right next to a nightclub, so there can be some night time noises. Breakfast was typical Embassy Suites - free and quite a good range of options. Mixed emotions. About one of the nicest hotels in LA With really good continental breakfast. View inside the hotel is amazing. The mood ruined would have to be the AC. Ive never experienced a hot hotel. EVER. Its about the hottest hotel I've ever stayed inn. And they won't upp the temperature because they said its basically "centralized " from the lobby to the rooms. Our room was at 80 the whole time. The vent grill was cold but nooo air blowing out. I lost 6lbs on the trip.
