Warm & Caring Dr. Shields gave me the best eye exam I have ever had. He pays such attention to detail, reviewed everything very carefully and made sure I understood everything, took his time through my exam and really left me feeling educated on what was happening with my eyes. The staff was curtious, helpful, accommodating. It's service like it used to be; I feel like they really cared about me, and my experience. I have been to every place in town over the last 50 years, and I can tell you this one is the best, hands down.
Saved my life! Dr. Shields diagnosed a rare disorder of a tumor behind my eye, this was after my opthalmogist and neurologist missed it. His staff was caring and really helpful to me. I had a great experience.
Great Doctor, Mismanaged Office I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Shields; my eye exam was done thoroughly and professionally, and I greatly appreciate the special care that he took in answering all of my questions. He is an excellent optician. I wish I could give a positive review of the storefront half of this business, but sadly I can't. Friendliest Business on Main Street! Those cruising the internet will probably have seen my post several times already. I loved my experience at Embassy. The entire staff is friendly and personable. Everyone there cares about every customer, and works hard to make sure their needs are met. I highly recommend them to anyone!
They are remarkable people I am really impressed with the service that I received from the staff and Dr. Shield. He has a wonderful attitude toward people, no matter what are who you are. I like the fact that he gives you his undivided attention, make you feel like a person. I really appreciate that he was able to identify a sun spot that was located on my eye ball. I have been going to the same doctor for over 10 years, and he has never let me know that I need to wear sun glass, if I want to continue to see. Dr. Shield wife... read more
Outstanding Dr. and Staff I have gone to many optometrists, nobody is as wonderful as Dr. George Shields. He was very kind and was able to answer any questions I had with much detail. After my exam, I went downstairs to meet with an optician. I have always had trouble picking frames and lenses, but the outstanding staff here worked as a team to find the perfect match for me. I will continue to go back for all my eyecare needs. As well as recommend them to everyone I know!!! Thanks Embassy!!!
Very friendly, family-like atmosphere! As soon as I walked into Embassy Eyecare I was greeted and treated as if I was family. I wasn't expecting such a warm atmosphere. Dr. Shields examined my husband and I. He was great, he referred my husband to see an opthomologist for a detached retina. After my experience there, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
