I had a similar experience as Valerie. My dog was merely scared, but instead of them taking their time with her, they instantly put her in a choke hold which made the situation worse. As she fought vigorously to free herself from this miserable position, I barked at them to "let her go". The assistant looked at me in shame while the Vet stormed out of the office. The vet also claimed that my dog "lunged" at him....... Never happened. She was trying to back away from him and almost fell off the table... So how did she "lunge"... read more
