There are plenty of Ely locations that are fabulous however, Ely on Fremont is not the best choice. I lived here for a year and some change and it breaks my heart the things I have gone through at this location. 1. Homeless people and thieves continue to find their way into this building. I have received random knocks on my door by homeless people. I have had countless packages stolen (even with a camera at my door), when reported to police, nothing was done about it. 2. A star for each of the present management team and staff as they are consistently helpful and kind. I updated my review now after residing here for a few months. The consideration from the current office staff and management has been wonderful, and I do feel welcomed. There are normal issues that can arise as the same with any complex, however, in my experience so far, management is showing action in improving those issues. If you value security, you will look elsewhere. They just had some guy on July 4th weekend going up and down the halls stealing packages because they have no real security on duty after hours. In addition, they leave the back doors open during business hours for the homeless (or anyone else) to stroll right in. Instead of fixing the door coming in from the back (which previously required you to scan your card), they just made it so you don't have to scan it anymore instead of properly repairing it.
