Bit pricey and chips too salty. But the rest of food was delicious.
Beautiful place!!!! The glass structures are mesmerizing.
I hope you'll put Sabana ( on the Tubac summer menu) on your full time Tucson menu! It's one of your best dishes, IMO.
I went with my mom on Friday the 23rd of May on Memorial Day weekend to Tubac...we wanted to have a fun mother/daughter day together. We hadn't been to Elvira's since it left Nogales. We struggled over choosing which restaurant to go to in Tubac but finally settled on Elvira's. Boy what a MISTAKE!!!! I strolled through this restaurant on Google street view long before I got to Tubac. The decor is so striking we had to eat there. My camarones were delicious. Curious that it was served with rice pilaf instead of Mexican rice or white rice but excellent nonetheless. Popular (therefore busy), and pricey but a memorable stop.
