I have just had my third VAR treatment. I cannot believe the difference in my skin. In recent years my skin had become translucent because it was so thin. I also had webbing around my eyes and around my mouth. My skin is plumper and the lines have hugely reduced. I was so amazed I said that Astrid could use my photos on her website. I have been going to Astrid for years , occasionally gone somewhere else but always return as lve not found anyone who is as knowledgeable, informative and l always know when l have an appointment it will be Devine. I work in a skin cancer clinic and the lady doctors as well as patients ask what l use as my skin looks so good, today l had the new VAR treatment and l have never had a more relaxing treatment with the bonus of the amazing results
I get Electrolysis and IPL with Astrid and she is very professional and amazing at delivering high quality services. She delivers superb treatments and now I hardly have any hair in the areas she’s treated. She will give you an appointment first and work out what best individually suits you. She is also a lovely lady to get treatments with in the local area.
I had electrolysis on my chin and have been left with permanent scarring/pitting. The skin on my chin is now very obviously dimpled and uneven. I will have to spend 1000s of dollars on microneedling/laser resurfacing to see an improvement. I have asked Astrid to remove the section on her website saying there are no permanent side effects but to no avail. My dermatologist and new electrolygist have said there can be permanent scarring/pitting from over treatment (the chin and upper lip are apparently a higher risk area), so p... read more
