Dr. Belay is an exceptional doctor, a very skilled surgeon (great outcome), an excellent medical educator to patients, graciously patient with questions, receptive to questions from family members, incredibly kind in manner, and so knowledgeable. I also appreciate the way he treats his medical assistant, always speaking kindly and calmly and explaining why he is asking for something. Dr. Belay seems to be that wonderful intersection of excellent surgeon and great human.

An extremely caring and patient doctor. From the 1st time I met him I could see he was a great listener. Great surgeon for total knee replacement and after care giver. So glad I went to one of his seminars.

Dr Belay and Rebecca at the OrthoVirginia surgery center in Herndon were so kind and easy to work with. They made me feel comfortable every step of the process - post injury, pre surgery, and post op. I am very greatly for their level of expertise and care! I would recommend them and OrthoVirginia to anyone. (I had broken pieces removed from my left knee)

Dr. Belay was excellent! I have sent so many doctors this past year, many orthopedic doctors over the years. I’m finally at peace. The doctor was fully aware of my health issues and assured me I was a good candidate for a knee replacement. He explained what needed to be done before and after. I have work to do! But I believe I’m in good hands!
