Best in the Midwest – Just a 90 min. drive from Chicago and worth it..Salami & cheese plate and add the hot out of this world appetiz potatoes, fresh fruit platter ...portions are fantastic..consider sharing a few....service couldn't be better..come early..just a great place....sandwiches and nachos that went by our table made our mouth water...with a couple of wines each..$52..with tip $62...Barbara & Jerry
Elsa's is the place to be! – Seems as if everyone raves about the burgers (yes - they are good) but the wing platter is outstanding! The drinks are great too. Can't find a better B-52! I love to people watch!
Not just hamburgers – I have had the burgers and they are good, but don't just stop at the burgers. They have a good chicken platter also. The drinks are great also. Try the French Kiss Martini very good but expensive.
Great atmosphere, great desserts! – Went to Elsa's late on Friday night. The restaurant was packed, but we were able to get seated immediately without reservations. The modern atmosphere appeared to attract a large crowd of people in their 20's and 30's. If you go to Elsa's, I would HIGHLY recommend that you try the Golden Gate Cake for dessert. It is fantastic!
Best Burger! – Expect a wait but worth every minute. Best burgers in the area. Try the Las Brias or the Alfredo - both were outstanding!
Part restaurant, part nightclub, this is the high-tech spot for superb food and people watching. – The Scene Owned by the same family that runs the Kopp's custard/burger chain, Elsa's on the Park is one of the best people-watching spots in the city; the high-tech atmosphere and vibrant bar have attracted visiting athletes, politicians and celebrities. Sister restaurants in Soho, New York and Scottsdale, Az. share the success of Elsa's Milwaukee location. The Food The menu is sandwich-driven, but soups, enormous sirloin burge... read more
Best Burgers In Town – I am not one to try new burgers but I did when I went to Elsa's and I loved each and everyone that I have tried there!
Best burgers at a price – The price being your pride. If I get the rare good server I treat them well and tip high. If I get one with an attitude I give it right back. These are the best burgers in town. With the fries and a beer I feel guilty for a week (or until I put in an extra 30 minutes on the tread mill at the gym.) Try to sit in the front windows or along the walls. Avoid the bar or the central aisle -- too much traffic. They turn people away so get there just before 11:30am.
Darn Good Burger – Elsas has a great variety of gourmet hamburgers, my favorite carrying bacon, blue cheese, some rich dark sauce, and ground peppercorns. Sure I pay about ten bucks for it, but it's a full half pound of the best burger I can get in the city. It's got a pretty swanky interior, and it's right across from a nice park. You can wear jeans here. (psst. some of the patrons act stuffy)
Elsa's On the Park has a 4.3 star rating with 1,474 reviews.
