Dr Canales is very professional, very knowledgeable and with extremely good bedside manners. The staff is also very courteous and efficient. If there were 10 stars I would gladly assign 15!
Don’t waste your time and money, go to San Antonio to see a gastroenterologist!! HORRIBLE customer service!! Took over 2 months to get an appointment. Appointment was scheduled for 2:45 pm and at 5:00 had not been called. Requested refund of co-pay and left! Waste of time!! I don’t understand why they schedule so many people when they don’t have the capacity—- FAILURE!
the worst staffing to deal with. spoke with a lady name Violeta, bad attitude. Basically she will tell you to back off because "she" has a lot of patients. ran out of the medication, but my insurance requested an authorization from them. explained to them that is has been more than 3 days without the medication, they just don't care.
My mother has been going to this practice for some time now, and has only spoken to Dr. Canales once.. She is never available for her patients. She always has her assistants check on them. She should be more available. It almost seems that the assistants are the real doctors there. I understand that doctors have other patients and other stuff to attend to but it is ridiculous that my mom has only spoken to her once and isn't really able to ask her questions directly. Be more available!!!!!!!!!
Excellent Doctor and staff I highly recommend.
