Elroy's If you're looking for a relaxed sports bar to watch some games you might want to keep looking. Especially on weekend nights this hot-spot turns into a raucous atmosphere for the mostly 20 and 30 something crowd. Plenty of T.V screens provide chances to watch sporting events, but if you're looking for a quiet place to catch a game, this isn't it. However, if you want a place to go have a good time with friends and actually watching the "big" game isn't so important, you will enjoy Elroy's.
Elroy's Restaurant was a fun place to enjoy friends & NCAA Football. After 5 years of being a loyal patron during the college football season, tonight was the last straw. I have enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere but go there primarily on Saturday evening to watch multiple games at one time. Tonight they turned all there TV's except for 3 small TV's showing 2 different games. All the big screens were on U of I basketball or ISU basketball and one hockey game. I'd been coming to this bar since I was 19 years old and I love it. If you're looking for a Buffalo chicken sandwich this is the place to be.
