this clinic is a joke!!!!Pearce Tracy Dvm - Elpaw Veterinary Clinic is I have found that the receptionist are very incompetent when dealing with clients and answering basic pet questions. why are they still employed? when there is so much better help out there with mature age and maturity. The one technician is no better she claims to have been there a long time but has nothing to show for herself and again cant answer pet questions. this hospital is a joke and everyone in it. Stay away for the safety of your pet and time wa... read more

OK for wellcare - stay away if your pet is sick We took our puppy to Elpaw twice. Once for her first checkup and second for one of her shots. They were reasonably priced and capable.

Elpaw Veterinary Clinic is great I have known the people at El paw Veterinary clinic for 16 years and the doctors there are very good. I saw one doctor bring back a cat from death,so I would trust her with my kid!The techs. treat the pets like they were their own.I think that's a good thing. Plus my dog loves the doctor and I mean really loves the doctor!

Don't expect much I've taken my dog there for the past 18 mos. and overall, they appear competent, although one of the vets (not Pearce) doesn't speak enough English to have you understand him, so he handed me the prescription bottle to read the dosage and give my dog the pill for tapeworm. However, I recently needed Heartgard for my dog, and when I asked them to approve the prescription over the phone with 1800PetMeds, they refused, stating I needed to come in to pick it up. There's currently 18 inches of snow on the ground... read more

Elpaw deserves a higher rating! We've taken a total of 5 cats since 1986 to Elpaw, and love them. Dr. Pearce is very competent. Also, they're so nice and friendly (although I have to admit that the front desk lady is hard to deal with). One of our cats, Abigail, had been sick for a while, and we and Dr. Pearce decided together that she had to be put to sleep. Abby loved Pachelbel's Canon, and they let us bring in a boom box to play it for her while they gave her the shot. I'll never forget that.

OK for wellcare - stay away if your pet is sick We took our puppy to Elpaw twice. Once for her first checkup and second for one of her shots. They were reasonably priced and capable. Two very bad experiences there however - first they turned away a hurt dog when we were in waiting room - assumed it was because they weren't a patient or couldn't pay. Owner was very upset and it was quite unsettling to us. Then when our puppy (a patient) got sick a few weeks later (turned out she had zinc poisioning and severe anemia), we coul... read more

We like Dr. Pearce We have taken our dog to Dr. Pearce for over 4 years. She is honest, respectful, caring, knowledgeable and patient with him and us. He has had surgery once and in all likely hood headed for another very soon. We are very comfortable with our dog in her care. She doen't pressure you for unnecessary services like some other vets we have encountered in the area. She gives you the facts and lets you make the decisions. All in all a very good vet!!!
