It’s 8am and I called first thing and still waited an hour and got hang up before I even talk to someone, called again and waited another hour and still cannot talk to anyone. can someone please get to work? Ridiculous wait time

My doctor requested a 24 months follow up. The clinic refuses to make appointments more than 4 months in advance. When I called to book they told me they won’t see patients after 18 months without a brand-new referral from a family doctor. So instead of following medical advice, I now have to start over and fight to get another referral just to access the same care. This isn’t patient care—it’s bureaucracy getting in the way of basic healthcare. And we wonder why the system feels so broken.
