I usually don’t take the time to leave reviews, but my experience at ELNA Clinique Vieux-Port truly deserves one. I had to see a dermatologist and was honestly very stressed because it was so difficult to find a clinic that could accommodate me. After a long Google search, I came across this beautiful clinic and I’m so happy I did. Very poor communication. I received no appointment confirmation email, no text message, and no reminder of any kind. When I raised the issue, the receptionist acknowledged, "We made a mistake." Despite admitting their error, the clinic still charged me a $50 no-show fee. A clinic should have a reliable communication and appointment reminder system in place before penalizing patients for its own mistake. Experiences like this only add to the frustration many people already feel with Quebec's healthcare system.
I went to Elna Medical Clinique A for a gynecology appointment that I had been anxiously waiting for. At the first visit, the gynecologist ordered a specific second mammography to rule out breast cancer. I already had the follow-up appointment scheduled three weeks later, so I went to a private clinic, got the mammogram done, and they kindly faxed the results THREE DAYS before my appointment.
