I recommend you do not rent with Property West Residential. Prior to moving out I requested a walk through as is my tenant right via CA Civil Code 1950.5(f), they ignored my request claiming to be "too busy". They are now stating that they had to replace the carpets. When I told them I have pictures of the carpet and there were no stains, they claimed the stains were under the carpet. GREAT PLACE, AWFUL LANDLORDS. I lived in the complex for a year, and its on a great location. BUT the moment we left they refuse to give us our 1500$ deposit back!!! The apartment was in perfect conditions.

While living at the apartment, management didn't bother us much; including when we submitted maintenance requests. Moving out was a whole ordeal. One roommate knew they wanted to move out ahead of time so we signed all the paperwork to get her off the lease. Management said they'd taken care of it. Every piece of mail I received from the managers still had my ex-roommates name on it despite our constant requests to get her off the lease. After I finally moved out. DO NOT LIVE HERE! They will not give your deposit back and charge you extra fees when you move out. Our whole deposit was taken away due to the carpet "needing to be replaced" after only 2 years (the carpet was not dirty and was not replaced before our move in). Also, on top of loosing all $500 for the carpet, they said we owed $170 as the cleaning fee.
