I didn't visit this place..
A joke!!! I've tried to pay a speeding ticket several times since December. The clerk does not answer the phone and the 3 times I've shown up to pay in person (during the hours on the ticket), I've been recited & told they cant accept cash and that the clerk was not there and to "keep calling, he doesn't always answer". My license is now suspended due to this unpaid ticket and warrant fees they had the audacity to tack on.
Elmwood is scary to me never pass this place you'll go straight to jail 😒 dont pass through or they'll take your 200 everytime SMH. :Ps this is not a reference to monopoly.... lol
So, I recently found out that I have an active warrant at Elmwood Mayors Court for an old driving under suspension that happened in like 2015, but I ended up taking care of it & paying the fine & getting my license back sometime after that, probably around 2017. Well when I talked to the new clerk, he acted liked I never even showed up to court for the original charge, nor paid the fine. I insisted that I did pay it, & that they were wrong. I just found out about the false traffic cameras that were put up in Elmwood Place. I had to take it from this place can anybody tell me how I'm able to get my money back. I can't believe I didn't know about this if that was the case I would have never paid that money . can someone point me in the right direction on how I can get my money back. Please and thank you
