Dr. Shah does not take his patients seriously. Nor does he make sure you receive your medication in a timely manner that is needed on a regular basis (that I've been on the last 6 years). Which in turn has caused me to miss work and suffer through withdrawal symptoms. I'm over this office and onto a new one now that I have better insurance. The only caring physician there, in my opinion, is Dr. Jay. The staff has varied over the years, I've had more good experiences with them than bad, honestly.
I’ve been a patient at EFP for probably 9 years now. The dr I see is ok but the employees who work the front desk, run insurance and make calls need additional training. The front desk staff isn’t the friendliest, on more than one occasion the wrong insurance company was billed resulting in me receiving an outrageous bill. Been our family doctors office for over 15 years. Dr. Jay D Patel is amazing and knows our family and all our quirks and oddities. Family friendly and good at what they do.

Dr Shah is a good and thorough doctor the rest of the office sucks and everyone in it five years ago it was phenomenal I’m getting ready to change my doctor because everyone in his office sucks
If I could give it a 0 I would. Worst physicians office ever....staff is rude, physicians do not care about their patients, and don't bother making an appointment or calling because you will be waiting way longer than the average wait time. I actually got very sick due to their negligence and had to be hospitalized and the er doc even said to stay away from that place
I love Elmwood Family Physicians! Dr. Hetal Shah is my doctor and he is so nice and takes pride in taking care of any problems that I have! He is very respectful and professional! I hear good things about doctor's Patel too! I would recommend my family and friends to go to this doctor!
I have used this Dr for over 15 years. They listen to your problems and concerns. I would recommend them to all!
