Took me some time to find a pain management specialist as my neurologist asked me to find one for a blood patch procedure. Dr . Gerardo called me himself to find out more about my case. Had one shot for spinal stenosis in August of 2022. Dr. Girardot suggested I return for additional shots if my pain returned. C alled the office on December 20th and again today (December 28th). No one answers the phone nor has anyone returned my calls. I'm in pain , I did like Dr. Girardot but guess I'll have to look for a new doctor.
I been with this clinic for 21 years until now because at times I have to be out of town and they will not allow me to see a Dr. out of state even with their cooperation for my pain; can not fill prescriptions out of state; Must fly up and back between states even during Covid every 60 days no exceptions. This pain clinic is negligent & discombobulated. The nurse ordered the wrong injection for a family member which resulted in unnecessary pain for a few more weeks until the right injection was administered. The scheduling representative is also an incompetent liar. After scheduling an appointment with a specific female anesthesiologist, we were met a different male anesthesiologist at the time of the procedure. Avoid Elmhurst if you're able too.
