Every chance I get to have breakfast on the east side, I choose Elmer's! Love their eggs, bacon, home fries and pancakes! The wait staff is always friendly and courteous.
Service mediocre at best. They claim to have no flour tortillas at 9 am in the morning and this is basically a Mexican restaurant. Got the distinct feeling our server did not want to serve a gringo!! Too bad her tip was definitely affected. I really don't recommend this restaurant. Again too bad we really enjoy seeking out the local joints.
Had Huevos Rancheros again yesterday. Good home food.
Service was horrible, ordered breakfast and the eggs I ordered over medium came out with the white part black, when I asked about it I was told it was from the grill, took forever to get a refill on my soda and the waitress seemed put out when I asked for an extra plate!! Won't be going back!!

Took over 10 minutes for someone to take our order. When I ordered my drink a hot cocoa the waitress didn't know what I was talking about. I had to show her on the menu, but yet she brought the wrong drink. It took over 30 minutes for us to get our order. She had the order wrong. My husband tasted his food the beans were spoiled. So he didn't eat any of it.
Flautas are great, but don't bother with lunch buffet, order from the specials or menu
