My friends and I went to Elmer's Family Restaurant and the food was great, the atmosphere was great, and the prices affordable. I used my restaurant gift certificates which they accepted (no specials). Great place and will come again.

Had Westener breakfast. Loved it. So much food. Coming back for supper. I want to try their Seafood combo. Good food, great service & awesome background music, just our style. Our waitress was awesome also.
This place is horrible. Like bad. Like badder than bad. The food is just nasty. The orange juice tastes like watered down frozen juice. The steak had no flavor and was soggy from the cooks dumping the thin liquid from the green chile that goes on top of the tampiqueña. My hash browns weren't hash browns. They were oblong shaped, cut up, boiled-like potatoes that were drenched in the same liquid as the steak. The eggs were also soggy. My walnut multigrain pancake had no trace of walnuts. Mom passed away October 30, 2017 , she and her best friend would occasionally have breakfast, lunch or dinner there so we decided to dine in, in her memory each time brought tears to my eyes. We had breakfast twice in December decided to go in Monday for a new year dinner with my son his wife and 2 grandkids. Each time we’ve been there servers are nice food is wonderful and the music is nostalgic. Thank you

They took forever with the food.... and no flavor at all.. my first time here and bad experience.. never again will i come back

Best huevos rancheros in El Paso ... and quite possibly West Texas.
Have yet to have a bad experience in this place plus the food is always awesome!
