My mother went in for her first appt as a follow-up from a near catastrophic pulmonary embolism while on vacation that landed her in the ICU for days. He gave her little to no advice on her damaged heart and after care and when she asked if she should see a pulmonary specialist, his response was, "what good would that do?". When she asked a few more questions, he stood up and told her he had other patients to see. Dr Murdock, please learn compassion and get a lesson in patient care.
I took my mother to see Dr. Murdock for the first time over a year ago and he has been a professional and caring physician ever since. He manages my mother's cholesterol and hypertension. He explains his medical care and is open to answer any questions that we have. He is also friendly and has an excellent rapport with my mom. I highly recommend Dr. Murdock at Elmhurst Hospital if you are looking for a caring and competent cardiologist
