Beware! This company was hired to install a mini split, and as part of the work they used Sheetrock anchor bolts (no stud used) and the unit with minimal use has vibrated and fell off the wall causing a loss of all refrigerant and damage to the wall. When given the opportunity to come and correct their unprofessional workmanship, their response was “What would you like us to do? Upon returning home from a weekend trip. I found my A/C not working at 11:00 p.m. on a Sunday. To summarize, I learned I had a serious problem. Called Ellis the next morning at 8:00 and spoke with a young lady advising her of the situation. Her response, Tyler will be calling you in a few minutes. Dealing with Ellis Heating & Air was great! They are a courteous, responsive & professional operation. Tyler was our service tech & he arrived promptly, quickly diagnosed the issue & preformed the necessary repair in no time at all. Ellis installed the majority of HVAC units in my neighborhood, with that being said, myself and many neighbors had either had to get entire BRAND NEW systems replaced or very costly repairs done to our systems. When I called asking for warranty paper work I was not given a straight answer and was told that even though a part they installed that should last at least 10 years stopped working after two years that it is not their fault.
