Elliott's Oyster House is the place to taste oysters with friends over cocktails on the popular patio. The menu also features excellent shellfish from nearby waters and other seafood dishes including chowder, mussels, clams, salmon, crab and more. For those not so fond of seafood, pasta and meat dishes are available as well. This is a popular spot, and reservations are highly recommended.

Great Seafood – Great restaurant. The chipino is the best I have ever had. Worth going back to.
Waterfront Ho-Hum – The water view is the same as Ivar's and the food is not significantly better, but you will pay at least twice as much here, probably more! If you want great seafood for that much money, walk 2 blocks up the hill to the Brooklyn at Second & University. It doesn't have the water view, but the food is light years better than Elliott's.
Want oysters ? – Having tried many of the the traditional recomendations in Seattle for oysters and found them wanting, Elliott's delivered. Variety, knowledge and suggestions from our server (at the bar), were excellent.
No Special Orders Please – I challenge the creativity of a chef who can't make a dish without garlic. I also expect a $$$$ restaurant like Elliot's to be able to make dishes to order for patrons with garlic allergies. (Most quality restaurants in Seattle are able to do). There was only one dish on the menu that could be made without garlic (and it wasn't one that I would have chosen). Apparently everything is pre-made at Elliot's and the kitchen is only an assembly line. Also - ordered the smoked salmon appetizer and it was ... read more
great! – i recently travelled to seattle and this was the best food i had all week. i read the reviews before going and this looked like a good spot and it definitely is! Next time I visit, this place will definitely be on my list of places to visit. the crab cakes, chowder, and oysters are great...quick and friendly service. the entrees can be pricey (i've eated here twice and my bills were around $20-30 per person, depending on appetizer, drink, etc.), but the food is very fresh and well worth the price. great place for a ... read more
EXCELLANT – My wife and I were visiting the Northwest just last week. This was her first time ever in the Northwest. So I took her to Elliot's which I told her was great. I had the salmon for lunch (which melted in my mouth) and she had the Halibut cheeks. Her words were "this is the best food I have ever had in any restaurant anywhere". We had outdoor seating. The smells from the waterfront only seemed to enhance the experience. What a wonderful place for dinner or lunch. If I have friends visiting the Seattle area I will d... read more
great desserts – Definitely do not go here if you don't like seafood, because they have only a few, maybe one, non-seafood dish (chicken penne pasta) and it is not very good. Their seafood is great and their desserts are the best. I got the chocolate souffle and my boyfriend got the berry dessert that was the special of the day. We got AWFUL service (we were there for over two hours and we had reservations) but they gave us our desserts for free and were very apologetic. Somewhat overpriced.
Phenom – I continue to be amazed at the personal attention and quality of food and service. I am impressed everytime I dine there and I have never been disappointed. The oyster bar is excellent. Great conversation and food. The deserts are "killer". I take all my friends there when they come to town. I recommend it without hesitation!!!
Great Lunch – Great seafood on the water. Lunch was great. Kids liked the childrens menu selections.
