It's the best at what it does – I've been to Elliott's a few times now, and I can say that they are absolutely wonderful. In my opinion, Ray's Boathouse is the best seafood restaurant in the city if you want quiet, romantic and fin fish, but if you want to have a good time with your friends, eat THE BEST SHELLFISH anywhere, and be absolutely stuffed by their huge portions, you need to go to Elliott's. The oysters are perfect every time, and the staff know their stuff and will help you choose the oyster that you will enjoy th... read more

A reliably great oyster and fish house on the waterfront. – In Short All teak, copper and rough-hewn timber, Elliot's is most inviting when the weather cooperates. The long south-facing deck provides sun for lunches and early dinners, and sea-fresh dining for the nighttime crowd. A 21-foot oyster-shellfish bar sits opposite the entrance, where expert oyster shuckers and crab crackers skillfully prep crustaceans. Oysters and Dungeness crab are highlights, but in true fish-house tradition, the menu runs long with various prepa... read more

Best Salmon – Went for bruch and had the best salmon I have ever had. Oysters were good too, but expensive.

Best Bloody Marys – My girlfriend loves Elliott's oysters, but I'm completely in lust with their Bloody Marys. You should definitely get both as they make a great combo for light lunch. We sat on the deck and it was a typical weekend Seattle day, so I should have brought a jacket, but it was good fun anyway.

Waterfront central – Its location is its greatest asset, also its downside...If you eat here, it should be for location and to sit outside, people watch. Most of the menu is very standard/pedestrian fare. We would order clams or mussels here, but not even salmon and certainly not fish and chips. The fish fillets look like they were made in a factory(?). Fish tacos do not compare with anything one would get in Mexico or S. Calif. When do you ever have fish tacos with red sauce? Service is so-so. That being said, it still is a... read more

Don't Waste your Money!!! – We were greeted by a pleasent server, ordered beverages & wished to order an appetizer, but he was in a hurry. We ordered the tomato basil salad and Ahi Poke. that took 20 mins. The ahi was small and non descript & the tomato salad was unedible. The tomatoes were so over ripe and brown, I almost lost my appetite. Our beverges needed to be refilled, so we flagged down a hostess. We had the Salmon w/ Crab Crust which was overcooked, & potatoes seemed processed. I had the Seafood Chop Salad which was... read more

Nearly ruined our night – Despite the $20-40 entrees tourist trap ambience, we decided to try Elliot's. I ordered crab cocktail--a local specialty. The flavorless and unseasoned chunks of supermarket crab arrived doused in cheap cocktail sauce--dissapointing at $15. Our entrees were equally suspect. The salmon was overcooked, dry, and was not fresh. The accompanying babybokchoy was cold and dried out. The other entree was laughably bad. The macadamia nut crust was not evident on the fishy and dry fried snapper that more rese... read more

Happy Hour Oysters are a Winner! – I went to dinner, and I was ripped off. I went to happy hour, and I was happy. The choice that stands out the most, is the Oyster Rockefeller -- about $2 a piece but delicious! The choice I regret, the appetizer tower -- absolute rip off! At $33, I expected quality or quantity in crab cakes & calamari -- I got a few pieces at embarrassing Costco quality. The happy hour has the only reasonable price/quality ratio. The half-shell oysters are good -- and 50 cents each @ 3PM -- but the pan frie... read more

It's about oysters – Go sit at the oyster bar and be awash in at least a dozen varieties they may have at any one time, from both coasts and Canada. For the ultimate, wash them down with champagne. The regular menu is standard with the fish and chips, fish tacos, pasta with seafood sauce, dungeness crab. It will be well-prepared and fresh, but routine... Service is usually pleasant and considering its prime location on the waterfront, it is our 1st choice when we want that kind of experience. It is very casual, not romantic ... read more
