Great service from the front desk and the line personnel. Fuel prices are a little high but they are a CAA FBO so that helps. Clean and nicely decorated facility. Spacious pilot lounge with recliners and a snooze room too. Plenty of space in the waiting area too. Always a pleasure to visit here!
Absolutely fabulous experience. We got unexpectedly grounded here for weather on our way to Oshkosh and left our plane for a week as we rented a car to finish our trip. They did not charge overnight fees which was incredible. Evidently a bad storm came through while we were gone and they moved our plane into a hanger at no charge. Syanne at the front desk and the manager Theresa were really incredible, I look forward to coming back. Very easy 5-star review
I cannot say enough good things about the team at Modern Aviation in Des Moines. I had to fly in and out of KDSM 3 or 4 times this past week under incredibly stressful circumstances due to a sudden, severe medical emergency with my brother-in-law. The staff here went completely above and beyond during a chaotic time for my family. They anticipated our needs, seamlessly coordinated our rental cars, and handled every detail with urgency, professionalism, and genuine empathy.
