Explained procedure, gave opportunity to ask questions. Didnt feel rushed. He's an all-around good guy! Very pleasant to deal with!
Dr. Joo & his team took excellent care of me. They were professional, kind, and made me feel very safe. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Joo to my family and friends!
I have used Dr. Joo for a number of years for Colonoscopies and Endoscopies, and I am planning on using him again when I am due for these procedures in the future, as I have high regard for his expertise and his knowledge. Some people who have left reviews complain about him not taking enough time with them and only caring about money, but they do not realize that Doctors are only allowed a certain amount of time with each patient, and that they have a big case load to deal with every day including surgeries/procedures, and ... read more
Beyond unprofessional. I have sat in pain for years and he has showed no urgency in helping me with my issues. I explained that I was born with GI issues, that it’s not just due to my diet or lack of exercise. He seems to be more focused on receiving payment than helping patients. I have had to leave my university due to the constant, sometimes unbearable, chronic pain. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone suffering from a GI issue.
Recently had a procedure and was apprehensive because a possible malignancy could be the outcome. He was amazingly comforting and said a prayer before he began. He had a team with him that made me feel very confident in their skills. If ever I require another procedure, he would be my number one choice, and I would make my appointment based on his availability.
Not a good doctor. He did not care to listen to me. I have many gastro issues and wanted to discuss them. He kept checking his wrist watch for the time. He kept talking over me. the appointment was 30 minutes long and I left with no help from him at all.

He is one of the best doctors my husband and I have met. And we have been to many. He is knowledgeable, professional, and very easy to talk to. He does not hurry you out and cares about people. I hope he is appreciated by his superiors.
