This is going to be long....bottomline is this is the worst buying experience I have ever had. Please learn from my mistake and all to the other negative reviews that have recently been left...It has been 8 months of headaches from the car I bought from Ellingson Motorcars. Purchased a beautiful 56 Ford Fairlane, Scott was ready for my questions, and phone calls, I was buying sight unseen. Great car, great honest guys. Well pleased. Lou Kriger, Crescent, PA.
Drove 1200 miles to look at a supposedly frame off restoration truck and there was overspray everywhere and paint flaking off. He also stated I would be able to drive the vehicle and put it on a lift to inspect it. None of those things happened when I arrived after driving two and a half days.. we dealt with Scott and he was very dishonest about the condition of the truck.
Worst Buying Experience Ever! I purchased a car and left a negative review. The owner, Dan, called and apologized. The ad stated New Fresh Paint and it was not. He was very nice and offered to take the car back if I took the bad review down. Through this conversation I kept hearing about how rich he was. I called Ellingson about a month ago to get my car listed within Ellingson company. The office girl told me the person I need to talk to is on vacation but will have him call me when he gets back.. Never did he ever call me back. I'm very disappointed in Ellingson🤕 Since I received no call back I took my car to Route 65 in Hamn Lake. I got quick response their. My car is now for sale at Route 65..
I'm writing this review because I had a bad experience with Ellingson on the customer service side. I called up to find out information on consignment of my car. The receptionist told me that the person I needed to talk to was on vacation & would be back in a week. She took my information and assured me that he would be calling me back just as soon as he got back from vacation. Well it's been over month and no call back? Very disappointing that they don't find it important enough to do follow-through on potential customers.... read more
Be very careful with this dealership! Personally inspect every vehicle yourself. Don't wire money and buy sight unseen. Not the most honest people to deal with.
