This was my first experience with therapy after years of deliberation. I had seven or eight sessions with my therapist before she stopped responding to my messages, and I cannot say I gained anything from the meetings other than the general relief you feel from discussing your emotions. During the first session she had me take quizzes, one for depression and one for anxiety, to determine which I struggled from.
