My experience with Ellie Health has been completely derailed by administrative issues, particularly after my original therapist left the practice. The core issue lies with billing and support. When attempting to resolve complex issues, you are directed to a generic call center rather than a dedicated, in-office billing staff member, which makes resolution extremely difficult. I will be upfront about my motivation here. I am trying to get someone’s attention. They overcharged me because they didn’t submit my insurance correctly. I got a call inquiring about it before they charged me. Nothing came of it and I assumed it had been resolved, but then a charge appeared on my credit card. I have been seeing Katelyn W. at Ellie for over 6months and can’t say enough good things about her. I have seen real results.
I’m so bummed that I only got to work with Dana at Ellie for 6 months before I moved out of Austin- I wish I had found her years ago! Always attentive, caring but professional, she offered real and useful suggestions and let me just vent when I needed to. I’ve tried multiple options in town, and have to say she’s the best! I have already recommended working with Dana to everyone I know looking for an expert therapist. I’m going to miss her!
This health care professional has gone above and beyond what her duties and responsibilities were. She actually cared enough to be physically present at my home when exploring my granddaughter’s problems. I’m blown away. If the commitment this lady has is any reflection of your other staff, then cudos! You will succeed! Highly recommend this establishment! I only gave four stars because I believe there should always be something to strive for.
