STORY TIME! Set up a time to meet with someone back in April of 2024. Figured it would be a trial session or something similar to get an idea of what I was needing. Went well I guess. Set up appointments from that point. THIS IS ONE OF THE ISSUES - there was NO paper form or documentation on prices or payment schedule. i try to give ppl grace & space to be human, but Roxanne Swanson was often beyond unprofessional. from being on her phone totally ignoring me during therapy sessions, to having her child literally *in the room* during our virtual therapy sessions. she was dismissive. she overrode information i gave her about myself in favor of ideas she formed about me that fit her ifs "parts" narrative about who she believed me to be and why. her whole approach seemed to be to tell me to just radically accept everything and meditate about i... read more
