I was informed that my therapist would be going on maternity leave, which I completely understood and respected. However, after that, no one from the office followed up with me regarding her return or offered to assign a new therapist. As someone seeking mental health support, being left without communication or a plan for continued care felt disappointing. I expected more consistency and follow-through from a mental health provider.
