My friends took me to Ellendale's for lunch today. The buffet was wonderful and we were able to have a chat with Julie , the owner. She is a delightful person and very talented. She does most of the cooking for the restaurant. The whole experience was superb and I know all of us will go back again. Thank you Julie.
The food was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely.
If you want to visit, don't come on a Sunday at 3:00pm! They were done with their buffet and did not know where to sit us even though the place was semi empty and we were told the kitchen was not ready for dinner.... Bread took a good 15 minutes, even after I told our waitress that we were really hungry. My salmon pasta was cold and tasteless. Food was amazing!!! And was a nice small place not to pricey and the live music was awesome!
My husband and I went here about 6 years ago for our honeymoon dinner and we still talk about how amazing the food was!!!

Worst mothers day meal ever! !. 85 degrees inside!!. I could not eat my meal I got so sick from the heat. I spent my meal time on the porch...without my family! !
Ate Sunday brunch yesterday, the omelette was awesome. Unfortunately things went downhill from there. The majority of the covered dishes were unlabeled and in the dim light it was impossible to tell what it was. Several "hot" dishes were cold. Was looking forward to some fresh fruit until I bit into warm watermelon. I'm sorry but warm fresh fruit is disgusting and probably a health department violation.
