Around five years ago, I lost my dad, brother and husband within eight months of each other. I found Dr Lucas and not only has she helped me through the grieving process, she has also helped with a wide variety of other things that come up in daily life. I recommend her to anyone needing help of any kind. She’s very knowledgeable And professional. She is an amazing doctor and caring person.

This woman was my therapist about 6 or 7 years ago, and I can't believe she's still practicing. She's manipulative, judgemental, and an embarrassing excuse for a therapist. I really hope she's changed her ways by now. It took a lot of work to undo the emotional abuse and damage she caused me during our group and individual sessions.

Several years ago I was plagued with feelings of anger and depression. At the advice of my doctor I made an appointment with Dr Lucas. Over time she helped me to process and understand these feelings and the anger devolved into disappointment. I highly recommend Dr Lucas. She is both knowledgeable and compassionate.

Granted I only met with her for the intake interview, but I saw enough red flags to realize she was not someone I wanted to work with. These red flags were more so alarming because it was our first session—the one where the therapist is supposed to listen and take time to get to know the client. These included: offering unsolicited advice, lecturing, shaming for the issues that brought me to therapy in the first place, and over talking. She may be helpful for some people, but my experience was not a positive one.

Dr. Lucas is the absolute best therapist I have ever met. She is the most genuine, understanding, and caring individual. She got me through so many different stages in my life and I couldn't appreciate her more.
