Very helpful
My visits have basically been virtual. She tries to get to the root of the problem but sometimes I don't feel as if there is enough follow-up but these days a lot of the doctors don't follow up as much as they should.
My questions were answered and I understood all clearly. It is always a pleasure visiting and talking g with Dr.Scherl
DR. SCHERL IS A REAL DOCTOR. She saved my life few years ago. She cares about every patient.
Dr Scherl gave me my life back from ulcerative colitis. I would not be functional or perhaps even here had she not been the expert, caring and brilliant scientist/physician she is.
Always listens and addresses my concerns
Wait time was excessive (over an hour past appointment time). Placed in dark rom after being told “blood pressure is much higher than we like to see” with no follow up. NP was nice and made some suggestions. Dr. Sherl was rushed and hurried me out of room without exam to get lab work. She told me she was too booked to perform colonoscopy so another unnamed doctor would assist me. Maybe less patients should be booked per day to accommodate case load. Dr Scherl was, and over the 20 years I’ve known her, the BEST! She is warm, kind, very thorough in her exam. and has a great wealth of knowledge and experience. I became her patient 20 years ago when I was sent to her for a consultation to understand what another Gastroenterolgist’s exam and report was puzzling over and who wanted to wait another year. She recognized and called it right! Urged me not to wait Surgery proved… it was cancer. She is a lovely human being, and added plus.
Dr. Scherl is a wonderful human being and a great doctor.
