I paid for one month, they never sent a renewal notice, and up to the price, and they make it damn near impossible to unsubscribe on their website where if you try to it just loads and loads and loads and nothing comes up forcing you to contact them to unsubscribe

What a scam - they say they are $1 for 6 months and before you know it it’s $18.99 each month. I literally had to put a PAY BLOCK on PayPal - like the stuff you do to fraud transactions - for this because they won’t pick up the phone to actually help you.

I actually liked the paper. But when I want to cancel my subscription. Had to phone a call center. They make you hold forever. Then try to cut your rate in 1/2. I finally said no please cancel the subscription. So they hung up on me. I will have to wait and see if the actually canceled it or not

I think they are a professional paper with well written content and a good online presence. I just wish they would compromise or come to an agreement to help people out in my situation. The Elko Daily is hindering me from getting a job and providing for myself. Story is on this website. elkodailyfreepressnewsstory.com
