I wish I had read the reviews before working with this counseling center. Not only did my therapist blow me off twice, they charged my insurance (insurance fraud) and myself for both sessions that never occurred. I emailed them, left voicemails, and eventually had to text the therapist to get anyone to respond regarding the billing issue. I was told to undispute the charges so that Elko could fix this issue on their end. This apparently was a trick to bill me and my insurance once again (insurance fraud). Their contact form doesn't allow you to choose who you want to schedule a session with or ask why you're scheduling an session, it only asks what times you're available, which I found annoying. After filling it out, the next day they emailed me asking if I was available at a specific time in two days from then with someone I wasn't super interested in meeting with, but I figured, whatever, I'll just try it. Listen to these reviews. I sadly didn't see them till after. I asked multiple times if we would be covered (I even found them through the bcbs app) but months after we get a charge for nearly $200 (which on the site have listed as $150 even if had to pay). Along side this they scheduled us on a day weren't even in office and charged us for it (we had to confront to get it refunded). They never mentioned that had to have access to the building, didn't answer calls, caused even more stress for my family and didn't even cover a... read more
After explicitly asking over email multiple times to inquire about insurance and receiving the same response that I was in network due to it being a PPO, after the first session the fit with therapist was not great and thankfully did not schedule again- because last minute I was charged for the full session without notice. Horrible experience!! Their local phone doesn't work. They don't follow through on emails. They misfiled my sessions!! Which made them charge my card instead of my insurance. I worked with them for 2 months to get it sorted. NO LUCK!! Finally my credit card company helped me out. I'd highly recommend going somewhere else. Don't risk your money..
