After a major hailstorm on May 9, 2016 Elkhorn Glass was one of the many subcontractors that were hired to restore the homes in my neighborhood association. The insurance company determined that my home needed two new windows. Upon arrival at the home they very poorly and recklessly removed the old windows. We believe these items are overstated. We did 50+ windows in this neighborhood and had no other complaints.
They measured, designed, fabricated, and installed a frameless shower door in our home. The original installer (their technician) told us the door opening was miss measured. After four service calls (one with the owner of the company present) and many commitments unfulfilled, the problem with the shower door continues. Tonight, ***********, the President, Sectretary, and Treasurer of the corporation called me an "as***le" and my issue a "frigg'n mess". June 30th 2016 the******** contacted us for a FREE estimate. July 6th we arrived to measure for the free estimate for 2 shower doors and mirror removal and a new beveled mirror. July 11th we called with costs for everything. They decided to have the mirrors removed and only one shower door. They paid a deposit of $630.00 at this time and were told we would order the shower door and that it takes 3 weeks to arrive.
