RecommendedCute, quiet little place just outside of Traverse City. We were lucky to stumble across this place, it is a little dated but had everything we needed (including a fire pit, BONUS!) and would definitely stay again.
from the outside looking in it doesn't look like much but when you get inside it's amazing very clean and nice place!!
Room and bath were very clean. Plenty of towels. Surprised by the fridge and microwave because it wasn’t listed on their website. Maybe I missed it. AC worked great. Room was quiet. Manager found and returned my husband’s wallet he dropped by the car. So thankful!
If you like Schitt Creek, this is the place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
My husband and I booked this hotel for harbor days, Total false advertising. I would not recommend this hotel at all. It advertised lake front . There is no lake view from this hotel at all. Not to mention a new toilet and paint is not what I would call remodeling, the shower had mold in it the new bed spread had stains, but the mice were friendly..
This is a nice little motel in Elk Rapids and only a 15 minute drive to Traverse City. The rooms were clean, there was a grill and fire pit for use, and it was a quiet atmosphere. They owners are still working on the property so I can only imagine this place getting better!

the place was a little bit dated, but the room was clean, people were friendly, and it has a private beach on Grand Traverse Bay!!!!!! Definitely going back to stay there again!!!!!!!!!!!
After reading the reviews, I’m assuming we stayed in a room that has not been renovated yet terrible pillows, open outlet by the toilet, shower was sketchy, almost had the feel of a bathhouse shower.did like the fire pit and grills available. However, no one available Saturday evening or Sunday morning at the desk. Would not pay what we paid to stay in that room again.
