RecommendedLove this place! Every time we have taken Peyton in he is treated like a king. The staff is always fighting over who gets to take care of him. They are thorough with their answers and never take shortcuts. I am always reminded of annual exams and shots which is helpful with the crazy schedule I have. Highly recommend Elk Rapids Animal Hospital!

Outstanding staff at both Elk Rapids and Sutton's Bay locations. Fair prices and great care. These folks set the bar pretty high for veterinary care. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

One of the worst veterinary practices in the area. Never in my entire life would i imagine being treated as poorly as myself and my dog were by people in this profession. If you don’t know how to handle or act around animals you shouldn’t be around them. Very unprofessional, rude, disrespectful, and ill hearted.

I first went to them when I was fostering a dog for Silver Muzzle. They did such a wonderful job with her (Dixie)that I took my two other dogs to them as well. When one of my two had issues due to old age, they did a great job to help me through his last year and was so helpful and comforting when he finally passed. They are absolutely amazing that I have no problem driving all the way from Traverse City to have them take care of my dogs.
