RecommendedIncredible location! Lark and her team keep the cabins and area immaculate. We’ve enjoyed the fire pit, the great chairs on the patio decks, the kayaks (with super nice life preservers)... one thing that I’ve noticed, which shows how seriously they care for their property, they brush off / broom off the outsides of the cabins with every new guest arrival. They are good people, that love this land, the cabins on it and the guests that stay in them. ❤️

What an adorable cabin, on a beautiful lake, run by wonderful people! We were so sad to leave Elk Point Lodge, but we can’t wait to visit again. ❤️
We went on the breakfast ride on July 4th. We had an amazing time! Skies were blue and the air was crisp and clear. Lark, Pete, Lisa, and Beth were great! We accidentally got there early, but they didn't bat an eye, just invited us in for coffee and a game of pool. The ride was peaceful and we always felt safe. The landscape around Vallecito Lake is stunning! When we returned to the lodge for breakfast we were treated to a class A meal. This place is incredible! The most amazing staff and one of the most beautiful locations in Colorado. So much fun kayaking, paddle boarding and horseback riding. Gorgeous views!!
Most spectacular lodge we have ever been to! We woke up in the morning to a clear sparkling lake, a deer running by our window and the sound of playful horses in the pasture! Lisa, Mindy and Emily thank you for a retreat of perfection �

One of the best vacations my family and I have every taken. The staff was wonderful the cabins are clean comfortable and cozy! Great views and plenty to keep busy and entertained. I've stayed at many resorts around this lake and this was by far the absolute best.
