Children's is by far one of the best hospitals in Colorado!!!
My 7 week old was rushed here from the north campus with a serious case of RSV and bacterial pneumonia. They saved her life. The PICU team has been amazing! We have loved every single nurse and doctor we have spoken with. They all provide a high quality of both patient care and communication with families. Not only that but the social worker and hospital Chaplin made a Point to check in with us on a daily basis, and provided many resources for us to help cope with the situation. We visited with a hand specialist Dr. Sibbel. My son has cerebral palsy and we have become big fans of children's hospital Colorado. Dr. Oleszek (rehabiltation doctor), Dr. Chang (surgeon)is awesome. Doctors n staff members very patient n upbeat. The hospital itself is always buzzing with activity. Craft stations, bands playing, art work lines the wall, n bold bright colors catch your eye. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Our first experience and they walked us through everything.
We have had several visits to this hospital unfortunately- BUT our children always receive excellent care when we have to go.
