This hospital has stopped marking gender on very important identification information. I think that knowing a person’s gender is crucial to be able to narrow down diseases, types of cancer, and even plays a factor in choosing appropriate treatments. If doctors here want to play along with “gender equality” or “gender neutral” games then they have obviously thrown all basic human biology, physiology etc away and cannot be trusted to give the best care to your children. Gender equality is not a place for a children’s hospital. Let them grow and discover their own identity in life. Do not push your ridiculous ideology on children. Girls are girls and boys are boys. That’s the way we were created. And That doesn't seem safe. It helps insure identification of patients. I’d like my children’s doctor to know basic biology.
My daughter just passed away 11 days ago. The picu was awful. Nobody knew what was wrong with her. We brought her in due to vomiting and diarrhea. They kept pumping her full of fluids even though we repeatedly told them she wasn’t urinating. Next day she was having problems breathing. Husband went out and interrupted their big morning round.
