I have seen Dr Mitchell for yearly checkups for awhile. I went this morning for my visit only to be told they had rescheduled my appointment and had sent me a text message stating that. Never received the text. Searched my messages while standing at reception and it never came. Poor poor communication. They could have emailed, send a snail mail or called. A waste of my time. GREAT! She is the best. Very caring and concerned. She explains everything very clearly and makes certain that all my questions were answered.
Very disappointed in patient care and communication.
She is as thorough, articulate, pleasant as any physician I have ever seen. I am very confident I am well taken care of.
I had to call the weekend on-call physician and it just happened to be Dr. Mitchell. While she is not my regular ophthalmologist, I was treated with the highest quality of care. She returned my call within 15 minutes on Saturday. I sent her a picture of my eye and she promptly send in meds that worked beautifully. She called me around 12:15 on Sunday to check on me and said she would be in her office around 1:30 on Sunday if I would like her to check my eye. never got to see a doctor. the schedulers neglected to put my appointment on the books, after leaving me on hold for 20 minutes while determining that Dr. Mitchell had no appointments available but Dr. Kosek did and provided me that appointment. Apparently driving an hour from 80+ miles away is not important. I was told I had to come back tomorrow - which I cannot do it's too far and half a tank of gas later and 160+ miles wasted.
Dr. Mitchell is so caring and knowledgable I would highly recommend her to anyone.
My experiences with Dr. Mitchell have been very satisfactory. I believe I have received very good and competent care. In addition she is a delightful person.
I have already recommended Dr. Mitchell to family and friends. It was refreshing to see how everyone and everything worked in her clinic to provide a thorough evaluation.
