I've been a patient for 20 years, and have always felt that Dr. Burke and the staff are professional, courteous and very helpful.
I have relied on Dr. Burke for 22 years for my dermatology needs. She found my melanomas 22 years ago and immediately started a treatment journey including another surgeon . This led to Duke University Hospital to continue other treatments and surgeries. Without Dr. Burke’s knowledge, treatment, and care, I probably would not have lived.
Gives scientific information about your condition. Feel that I’m thoroughly informed when I leave office. Appreciate electronically sending prescriptions to pharmacy.
Dr. Burke us very thorough and informative. I've been a patient for about 10 years and am very satisfied. Her medical assistant ( sorry didn't get her name) was awesome. Very friendly and welcoming.
Very good at explaining what is being done, why, and the next steps
Yesterday I had my annual checkup. When I showed her an area of concern, Dr. Burke immediately arranged to do a biopsy. This put me at ease because I knew the spot would be checked thoroughly. My results will be back in a week.
Waited about 40 minutes, She did a thorough exam and found no problems. She discussed the differences in sizes and shapes of moles, etc.
I would give Dr. Burke 5 Stars, but I just can't. Her office is always over scheduled. I have never had more than an hour and 15 minute delay from my scheduled appointment time. Sometimes between two and three hours. I am not alone. I understand that there may be instances were people need in office procedures that were not planned and discovered, but this is not an isolated incident. They need to schedule more time between appointments. Patients time is worth something too.
Very good Dr took her time and explained everything very well.
