Had to wait a significant amount of time in the waiting room. About an hour past my appointment time. Things come up. One patient can throw the entire day off. Dr Arena was knowledgeable. The exam was thorough. She was respectful of my decision to wait and watch. If I didn't have breast cancer, and just a higher risk of developing it, but there had been no change in 27 years. I wanted to watch. UPDATE: TURNS OUT I WAS MISDIAGNOSED! VERY HAPPY I DECIDED TO WAIT AND NOT DUE THE SURGERY!
I am so grateful to have found Dr. Arena!! She genuinely cares and is very thorough and efficient. She takes her time to make sure she understands your concerns and comes up with a plan to resolve the matter. She is out of my network but it's totally worth it! 🙏

Absolutely stellar oncologist/surgeon! A true answer to prayer as she guided my mother & explained her options which put her and the family at ease. My mother underwent surgery and Dr. Arena had the hands of an angel as surgery was complication-free & my mother's scarring is almost non-existent. If your insurance offers coverage for her, don't even consider anyone else! You'll be relieved and thankful. And to all suffering from this devastating sickness, there is hope.
