Unfortunately over the last few years I've developed odd chronic illnesses. I needed a primary care who was up for the challenge (aka me), and was referred to Betsy. I'm so glad I was, because she's amazing. She cares, she's thorough, and I never feel misunderstood or dismissed. Grateful for her care.

Read this before you schedule any appointments with this office. I work for a corporation here in Melbourne that provides health insurance to its employees. Under this insurance, we are allowed one free annual physical/check-up per year. I called health first because it’s so close to my work and clearly asked them to schedule me an annual physical/check up. They scheduled it and I went. Once again don’t see ANY doctor that works at the Health First Melbourne Gateway clinic. Fat-phobia runs rampant with these people. None of them listen and blames it on your weight and not all the other underlying symptoms you have going on. 10/10 will not go back to see this dr.

If you are young, healthy and thin, she's great. If you don't match those qualifications, good luck trying to get an appointment, let alone ask for any help. Her response to chronic issues is to draw lab work, and then have you take vitamins.
