I called to schedule an appointment as I was referred by my doctor. Kathy or Cassie answered and I told her I wanted to schedule an appointment. I guess she heard the “black” in my voice because she put someone else on the phone. She says, “can I help you?” I told her I wanted to schedule an appointment as I was referred to them by my doctor. She says “What insurance is this? We don’t contract with Medicaid.” Gotta love racial profiling and discrimination in 2020.

The doctors and therapists here are pretty great. I love working with Jen and Sophia. However, the office staff, specifically Jamie, make my experience horrible every week. They constantly milk me for money and take money out of every little thing that happens. For example, I had paperwork to fill out and they charged me $58 despite the fact that the paperwork was a single page and very easy to fill out.
