My doctor has always included me in the decision making for my overall health. He is one who not only discusses but teaches also. He does an excellent job. I appreciate all that he does to keep me healthy.

I'm going to be 100 percent honest. If you want to be treated like your pill shopping come to this doctor. I have true health issues and want to find out what was going on with me, only to be treated like I was lying to get pain pills. Almost a year later, he still has not ordered the correct test to find out what's wrong with me. You can't get the help you need from his assistants because they are unprofessional. Dr Alvarez always listens to my questions and explains his responses so that I understand.
I absolutely believe Dr Alvarez through his caring, concern, and insistence has extended my life expectancy, if not saved my life.
Dr. Alvarez recently followed through with additional testing and a [...] was discovered. If he hadn't acted as he did, I'm not sure what my prognosis would be. The cancer was removed and my kidney was saved. I only have one kidney. I'm very thankful to have him as my doctor.
As always, my physician is very attentive, friendly and thorough in his approach to my care and helps me fully understand any recommendations.
