So I had spent 10 years at a big clinic getting treatment. I’ve had different medications, different doctors, different diagnosis. An example of something I went through was, I had trouble sleeping and was prescribed trazodone. I was either allergic to it or it was ineffective. So when I explained that to the doctor, all they did was take me off of it. They never tried to address it again and my sleep was never fixed. UPDATED: Dr. Sherwood is absolutely incredible. She truly listens to your needs and concerns and approaches care with compassion and understanding. She is personable, attentive, and makes you feel heard and supported throughout the process. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking psychiatric care — scheduling is smooth and the team is responsive and professional. Marcus is especially on top of communication and always follows up promptly. I’m incredibly grateful to have found such an amazing care team!!
